House rules

Safety and the right to refuse

We may change, postpone, or refuse service when a home is unsafe or outside the work we do.

Outside the scope of a house clean

  • Biohazards, including blood, bodily fluids, needles, and hazardous chemicals
  • Severe mold, sewage, or chemical contamination
  • An active pest infestation that has not been treated
  • Strong chemical odors or air that is unsafe to breathe

We may refuse or leave

  • Structural damage, a water leak, or exposed wiring
  • No water or power when the clean requires it
  • An unsecured pet, or a pet that is a safety problem
  • Any condition that puts a person at risk

If we arrive and the home is unsafe, we will leave. The full service amount may be due for the time that was reserved. See booking and cancellation.

Pets

Pets must be secured for the visit. If a pet becomes a safety problem, we may pause or refuse the rest of the appointment. We are not responsible if a pet gets out.

Respect

Harassment, discrimination, or disrespect is not accepted. We may end the visit. Payment may be due for the time reserved and the work already done.

Continuing service

We may refuse or stop service for safety, professionalism, quality, a repeated policy problem, or a concern that is not fixed.
